Senior Drama Club Presents: Jitters, by David French
Senior Drama Club students and their coaches savouring success after the performance.
By Melody Barclay and Kristy Smith, Linden Teachers
Our seniors have done it again! Our Grade 8–12 students who were part of the Senior Drama Club put on two wonderful performances of the comedy Jitters, at the Helen Gardiner Phelan Playhouse. Written by Canadian playwright David French, this play-in-a-play showcases the behind-the-scenes happenings of working in theatre—disasters and accomplishments alike.
While the girls performed and the audience laughed, we found ourselves teary-eyed with pure joy, pride, and excitement. These performances would not have been achieved without the hard work, dedication, and passion for theatre of all those involved. We appreciate the work that you all put in, we are so proud of you, and we hope to see you next year! Congratulations to everyone involved on a job well done!
