Dressing for Outdoor Education:

Here are some seasonal suggestions for appropriate attire for your child during our outdoor learning time.

Your role as a parent or caregiver:

  • Please send an extra change of clothes and refresh as needed (in case someone gets wet or muddy, they can change for indoor learning).

  • It is a great idea to check the weather together with your children each morning. What should they wear? Helping them develop the awareness around caring for their body and developing independence around this.

  • Send layers and options! In the shoulder seasons (spring and fall) we can expect a wide variety of weather. Having a variety of clothing at school can help ensure we can choose the appropriate outfit for the weather. Err on the side of too much warm stuff! We will leave what isn’t needed at school.
