Earth Day All School Celebration

For Linden's Earth Day All School Celebration the Grade 2, 3, and 4 classes hosted an Environmental Snap Math Fair and Community Cleanup. Over the past few weeks, the girls in the junior school have been working in groups to solve math puzzles and logic grids, which helped them prepare their questions for the fair. They chose an environmental theme and had a great time writing stories to illustrate math problems and prepare creative re-purposed pizza-box displays. Our girls become leaders in peer teaching math problems to older students by posing questions and prompting perseverance in problem-solving. 

After exercising our problem-solving skills the Linden community took to the streets and did our part cleaning up garbage around Linden's neighbourhood.
