4 Storeys Up: Clear Skies and a Great Evening!
Thank you to the Linden community for supporting 4 Storeys Up on Thursday, May 14. The crowd of about 70 mingling and fundraising on our lovely rooftop included faculty and staff, board members, alumnae, parents, guardians, grandparents and Linden friends! The evening's highlight was the art clash organized by Linden Art teacher Eric Tigley, which featured six artists painting in real time! The artists included Linden alumnae and a parent, who donated all proceeds from their artwork sale to the fundraiser.
The Parent Committee thanks all those who attended, as well as the many more who contributed financial donations, silent auction items, gift cards, loot bag goodies, and volunteer time. A number of Linden's faculty and staff graciously provided Linden experiences, and Grade 2-6 students with their teachers created lovely, one-of-a-kind planters. Special thanks to Chef Selwyn Richards of The Art of Catering for providing a delicious, Caribbean-inspired meal! We are still tallying final numbers, but are confident that we have been able to achieve our goal of raising $4000 for the Alleyway Mural Project and Linden's technology program.
Linden's Board of Trustees thanks our Parent Committee for organizing such a successful event - everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the great weather!
