Students, families and community members joined us at this year's Science and Technology Fair to explore research findings, ask thought-provoking questions, and join in exciting conversations with our young scientists.
Featured Projects:
Grade 11 Students Investigate Antibiotic Resistance
While learning about bacterial growth and antibiotic resistance, Grade 11 students created individual experiments to determine the effectiveness of antibiotics at inhibiting the growth of various bacterial cultures.
Grade 10 Students Research Sympathetic Vibration
Focusing on the famous example, The Tacoma Narrows Suspension Bridge, students built a model of this bridge and then recreated the environment which led to its collapse. They were successful in getting the bridge to oscillate by matching its natural frequency with sound frequencies.
