Leadership at Linden is Shared, Intentional, & Rooted in Community
At Linden, leadership isn’t about titles or popularity—it’s about using your voice to contribute meaningfully.
From the earliest grades, students are invited to take initiative, advocate for change, and collaborate across age groups.
A Grade 1 student might lead the morning announcements with pride, while a Grade 11 student co-facilitates a community assembly. Students plan events, propose new clubs, guide younger peers, and raise awareness on issues that matter to them. They are also meaningfully involved in decision-making, participating in school-wide planning sessions, offering insight into equity initiatives, and even joining faculty hiring discussions.
We do not have prefects or a traditional student council, simply because we believe that having a voice belongs to everyone—not just those who are elected.
Leadership at Linden is not a competition—it’s a shared responsibility. By fostering a school culture where every voice is valued, we empower students to lead with empathy, reflection, and integrity.
