WHERE CURIOUS MINDS LEAD, LEARN, AND THRIVE

At The Linden School, we believe education should amplify student voices and empower them to change the world. We are Toronto’s only independent school founded on feminist principles, where students learn through curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking. From Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12, Linden nurtures confident, compassionate changemakers ready for life beyond the classroom.

We’re committed to making our inclusive, girl-centred education accessible to as many families as possible. We understand that independent school tuition is a significant investment, and we offer financial support to help ensure that cost doesn’t stand in the way of a child’s place in our community. Our Financial Assistance Program is open to families from a wide range of income levels and is guided by principles of equity, confidentiality, and care.

WHAT OUR ALUMNI SAY

"I came to Linden in grade 9, following a very difficult time in middle school, and my experience was completely transformational. I rediscovered my voice, found a supportive community, and went from finding school daunting and scary, to looking forward to learning with my classmates. Linden instilled in me a life long love of learning and the confidence to take on life's challenges. I'm grateful every day for the time I spent at The Linden School, it truly made me who I am today."

Odette Hutchings, Class of 2007.

Linden made me into a critical thinker which positively impacts every element of my life; professionally, I can't understate how beneficial this - being strategic and able to conduct effective analysis - has allowed me to be successful in school and work, across a wide variety of roles in different sectors and has catalyzed ongoing learning and development.

Lucy Westell, Cass of 2007
