Welcoming New Students: Great Ravine Adventure Scavenger Hunt
Students heading towards the David Balfour Park for the Great Ravine Adventure Hunt.
Linden’s regular Thursday All-Schools take many forms. Just a few examples include:
- Honouring female engineers on World Engineering Day by creating structures.
- Celebrating Pi Day with math games … and lots of pie!
- Learning about food security in Canada’s far north, and raising money and creating birthday packages for children in Northern communities.
But on May 10, 2018, the focus was on enjoying the outdoors, having fun, and welcoming visitors: eight of the new students who will join Linden in September. Students were divided into Linden families and received instructions for a series of photographic challenges, and then set out to David Balfour Park for the Great Ravine Adventure Scavenger Hunt.
Thanks to all our students and faculty who made the day so special for our guests.
