Valentine Cards – with a Linden Twist

Celebrate Valentine’s Day while affirming healthy relationships, enthusiastic consent, and body positivity.

The Linden School has created four valentines that evoke old-fashioned cards of yesteryear — complete with vintage design, corny puns, and rhyming couplets — while offering very modern messages.

"Learning to navigate healthy relationships — including romantic and platonic friendships — is an important part of growing up," said Beth Alexander, Linden's Associate Principal. "We owe young people a chance to experience a progressive and inclusive health education that values their bodily autonomy. Teaching students how to enforce boundaries and respect the boundaries of others is as important as teaching them how to do algebra or write an essay."
