Senior Drama Club Presentation

The Senior Drama Club is proud to present "Romeo and (her) Juliet" adapted from William Shakespeare by Leslie McBay and Melanie Hrymak

On the homefront of World War I, in Verona, Ontario: old hatred, new ideas, and headstrong youth drive two families' poisonous pasts to a sharp new edge. This modern adaptation shines a new light on a timeless story and asks of its audience: when history repeats itself, which side are you on?

Director: Mieko Yao

Stage Manager: Lilah Petersiel

Featuring: Grades 7-12.

Venue: Helen Gardiner Phelan Playhouse, UofT Campus, 79 St George St, Toronto, ON M5S 3L8

Time: Doors open with a reception at 6pm, show starts at 7pm, and will run approximately 100 minutes, with a 10-minute intermission.

Directions: The playhouse is on an upper floor but has an elevator. It is a 7-minute walk south from St. George TTC station and paid parking is available in the area.

***If your student is participating in Drama Night, they have a show-week schedule that requires different hours and time commitments. Please confirm your student's call schedule with them before making plans for these evenings!***

If you have any questions, email Coco at coco@lindenschool.ca
