SSAF Indoor Soccer Tournament Success

On November 24, Linden's middle school athletes participated in the annual SSAF Indoor Soccer Tournament at The Hangar. Our athletes were more than ready! They had practiced for the past five weeks in a variety of outdoor weather conditions ranging from warm, rain, wind, and even snow! Their dedication and perseverance paid off as they played five games against a strong pool of other schools.

The team started off strong with impressive play against RHMS (2-1) and LBS (1-0). Next, they played in two nail-biting sessions with opportunities to score but just couldn't find the net against AMS (1-2) and KCS (1-3). The final game of the day saw our athletes making many offensive attacks versus GA. However, the game ended in a 0-0 tie. The team showed huge growth and cohesiveness over the course of the day.

Our congratulations to Lily, Julia, Juliana, Liv, Beatrice, Lucia, Evy, Carly, Serena, Intezar and Georgia for a great soccer season!

We are all looking forward to the outdoor season in Term 3!
