Kia Cummings Honoured by Ryerson University

Congratulations to Grade 12 student, Kia Cummings who received Ryerson University's Viola Desmond Award on March 2, 2015. The Viola Desmond Award is the only standing award at the ceremony each year. Award recipients are selected by a committee of Ryerson students, staff and faculty. The award is given to a high school student and is intended to offer ongoing empowerment and to provide encouragement for young women to continue to realize their dreams.
