How do you create mugs out of thin air?

Students in the TGJ3M Communications Technology course have been expanding their knowledge and skills by designing and producing various media projects including digital imaging and interactive new media. A recent project focused on using a software called Blender to create 3D graphics and 3D animations. Take a look at the graphics above which were produced by these students from nothing! Currently, the students are also working on audio projects to learn multi-track recording and editing using Audacity software

How do you create interactive online applications?

Students in the ICS3U Introduction to Computer Science course have been designing software and developing creative solutions for various types of problems as their understanding of the computing environment grows. Our students have been working with JavaScript, a high-level coding language. Have you ever heard of event binding? Document object model? Aren’t they going beyond the curriculum, you ask? Yes! Currently, students are well on their way to producing programs using JQuery. Want to play whack 'em? How about a biology quiz? Or maybe you want to find all the subsets of a given set? Check out all of the programs they have created using JavaScript:
