Grade 10s promote public health and positivity in COVID times through TikTok

Three Grade 10 students used their Civics final project to spread information, resources and good news to their peers and beyond during Covid-19 isolation. Using the social media platform TikTok, a popular website that hosts short videos made by its users, they posted six videos designed to present information in an appealing format. Intending to combat the spread of misinformation and the depressing focus on bad news, Carly, Maya and Annie made fun videos focusing on good news stories, clearly presenting information on the virus, and encouraging people to stay physically distanced by highlighting some online resources for playing with friends.
