Clay Workshop at the Gardiner Museum
By Brienne Cooper, Art Teacher, and Biljana Cavic, STEM Teacher
During Week Without Walls our Grades 7–12 students enjoyed a hands-on clay workshop hosted by the wonderful Gardiner Museum. We were provided with access to a professional ceramics studio, including a variety of tools and earthenware clay. The workshop allowed the girls to experiment with various hand building and decorating techniques under the guidance of museum artist instructors. From dragons to various other animals, our students used their imaginations to design an amazing array of artistic objects!
