A Very Linden Halloween!

The Linden School was overrun with Marvel superheroes—and supervillains this Halloween!

“I didn’t think we were allowed to be this scary,” exclaimed a third-grader upon seeing the decorations our students and teachers put together for the spooky season. With just a few days to spare before the ghoulish holiday, the halls of The Linden School seemed far more daunting than ever before. With cobwebs, beware signs, and a couple of cut-off legs, the Grade 5 judges of our door decorating contest were in for quite the task.

With decorations in place and candy in the air, it was just a matter of time before the hallways were crawling with ghosts, zombies, princesses, and animals. On Friday, October 29 our students and teachers came to school dressed in their October best. We saw a cheerleader with no spirit, Schrodinger's cat (or did we?), a little raccoon, a butterfly and lots of forest fairies fluttering about.

To keep our school safe and protected on this exciting day, some teachers turned to Marvel’s The Avengers. Classes were led by Captain America, Black Widow, Groot, and many more of the beloved Marvel superheroes and supervillains.
