I have been waiting for this moment for a long time and finally being here is very surreal... This graduation is a milestone I will never forget because high school was such a big part of my lifetime. I wasn’t the best student in high school but I always knew what I wanted to do in life, I just didn’t know how to get there. I am beyond grateful for being part of the Linden family because now, I’m a step closer to pursuing my dream. I’ve had some ups and downs but all my experiences have shaped me into the person I am today.

This day would not be possible without the help and support from the people around me. First of all, I would like to thank the Linden faculty for giving me an opportunity to be part of the school. Janice, you’ve been so wonderful to me and the opportunity you have given me means a lot. Because of you, I had the opportunity to join the community and I appreciate your kindness. I will never be able to repay you for the experiences I’ve had while at Linden & I just want to say thank you.

My mentors helped me a lot on this journey. They supported me in every way possible.

To Ruthie: I just wanna thank you for all your guidance and support. I appreciate all the effort you’ve done on keeping up with our university applications. You tried your best to help us & also thank you for being there when I felt down and helping me gain motivation right back up.

Cassie: I just wanna say that you’re an amazing English teacher who pushes her students to their best potential. You have prepared us all enough for university and I’m really glad to have an English teacher like you. I can’t thank you enough for your kindness and flexibility with deadlines. You were able to make concepts, I personally do not find interesting, quite interesting.

Martha: this year you taught me Data and Functions, and let me just say. Math is not my cup of tea but you always made sure I was on the right track. You were so positive about learning and I Just want to say thank you because everyday no matter what, you always supported me and helped me to further my understanding of math.

Biljana: what am I going to do without you. I just want to say thank you for teaching me chem. You taught it in a way that I have never seen before. This way of teaching actually made sense to me. You are one of the reasons that I am able to achieve my goals because you challenged us enough to gain confidence in chemistry.

Amy: when I found out you were pregnant, I was both overjoyed but also upset. I was so happy that your family was expanding, but I was upset to be losing one of my favourite teachers. You made biology so fun and interesting, I have never enjoyed biology more.

Deanna: it has been great year getting to know you. I enjoyed learning your perspective of biology. I found It interesting and I think you did a very good job at explaining everything. I’m truly going to miss your laugh and I wish we spent more time together.

Brie- I just wanna say that you are the best art teacher I’ve ever had. I will never forget you because you are the reason why my passion for art has gotten stronger. Your energy and positivity are what I’m going to miss the most. Thank you so much for everything you’ve taught me and I will continue to challenge my creativity every day. That I promise you.

To all my classmates & friends: you guys never failed to make me laugh. Thank you for being so nice and welcoming me to the family. I’m going to miss you guys so much and I wish you guys the best of luck next year. To Anne Biilmann, we only spent a year together but I feel like I’ve known you for years. There’s never a dull moment with You & you never fail to make me laugh. You're such a knowledgeable person because you have an explanation for everything & I learned so many things from you. I will truly miss arriving at the front desk and asking Mel “is Anne here?” Like every morning. Also, shout out to Mel, you’re the coolest receptionist ever. Anne & I always looked forward to sharing some tea with you.

To my Best friend Pierina: Thank you for celebrating all of the exciting moments in my life with me. A friend like you is rare to find and I was lucky enough to have you by my side supporting me with everything I do. You are the most amazing person I have ever met. I can’t wait for us to achieve our dreams and be successful together. Thank you for always being there for me and for always making me happy.

To my parents, mom and dad I thank god every day for blessing me with such supportive and kind parents. You guys are my motivation and you inspire me to do better every day. I can’t repay you enough for everything you’ve done for me but I promise I will make you guys proud. I don’t say this enough but you mean the world to me and I love the both of you so much, I don’t know what I would do without you. You guys are my role models and my inspiration
