Back to school is an exciting time at Linden. The month of September is ideal for students and staff to bond as a community, set personal goals and create healthy routines. Linden's Health and Physical Education department presents the 'September Start-Up!' to help us get into our healthy groove!
This school-wide health initiative is a series of fun community building activities that focus on fitness and wellness. This month, students and staff can drop into the gym thrice a week during the 9:30-9:40 AM recess for a quick infusion of sweat or relaxation. 'Move It Mondays', 'Wellness Wednesdays', and 'Fitness Fridays' activities will be run by the student athletes in the Grade 3/4, Grade 7, and Grade 12 gym classes. Try a strength circuit, a little Zumba, fitness boxing, or maybe laughing yoga and progressive relaxation strategies are your thing?! We've got a little something for everyone, so grab your water bottle and a friend and join us in the gym for a kick start to feeling great all year long.
