On September 22, the Grade 11 and 12 classes went down to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre to attend the Ontario Universities' Fair (OUF). The OUF is the largest education fair in North America. Students had a chance to talk to graduates, current students, staff members, and faculty members of universities from all over the province. Linden students had come prepared to ask specific questions about diverse programs, and also signed up for university mailing lists. Some of our students also listened to special presentations and seminars by different university academic departments or admissions and recruitment officers.

It was a great chance for students to start thinking about where they can see themselves in the next couple of years and what they want out of a university experience, as well as to connect with members of communities that they might be joining in the near future.

Stay tuned for more information about university applications and admissions, and remember that families and students in Grades 10–12 are invited to attend our  University Information Night on Thursday, October 12, at in the Linden gym.
