On Saturday, April 2, 2016, Linden students showed off their scientific investigations at the annual city-wide Science Fair, held at the Scarborough campus of the University of Toronto. "It was amazing, and I learned a lot. For example, we did a workshop exploring how air allows objects to fly. I also enjoyed showing off my project about tsunami," said Karina, Grade 6.

In Grades 7 and above, student projects are judged by a panel of teachers, professors, and scientists. "The judging was interesting and I got asked a lot of good questions. I'm so happy that I went!" commented Lucia, Grade 7. We are thrilled to announce that out of hundreds of participants, three Linden students — Olivia (Grade 7), Lucia (Grade 7), and Sarah (Grade 9) — received awards for their outstanding projects.

Amazing work, girls!
