Kia Cummings Receives BBPA TD Financial Scholarship

Congratulations to Linden Alumna Kia Cummings, who recently received the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA) TD Financial Scholarship to pursue sports media at Ryerson University.

Kia's most memorable moment at Ryerson thus far has been visiting SportsNet and being on the set on the weekly sports show called Tim and Sid.

Kia Cummings is presently taking Digital Media Production, Sound Production, Creative Processes, and Business of Creative Media. Thanks to Linden teacher Martin's excellent Spanish teaching, Kia is also taking a 3rd year Spanish course!

“Linden gave me a solid foundation to excel in my studies at Ryerson. One of my best takeaways is having developed the right mindset for staying focused on my studies," she tells us, adding that her transition from Linden to Ryerson has been seamless.
