Grades 3–5 Municipal-Themed Plays!

As part of our learning in Social Studies, we have been studying about our municipal government and local elections. We decided to share our findings with the Early Learners and Grades 1–2, who were also curious about our local government. We thought the best way to do this would be through plays!
On November 23, 2018, we had so much fun presenting our municipal-themed plays in front of the Early Learners and Grades 1–2. It took us a long time to practice for these plays but we all think that it really paid off. It took us from November 1st to November 23rd to have them almost perfect!
We started off by separating into groups, then writing our scripts. Next, we practiced our lines, actions, and blocking. When we got off-script, we started doing the same thing without using our scripts. We had so much fun creating and presenting our municipal plays to the younger students.
