On the last day of school before the winter break, the Grade 6 class hosted tours inside a giant-sized "computer" they built in their homeroom. Guests were treated to the sights and sounds of the components within a desktop computer, as their tour guides explained the job of each part, including the motherboard, the CPU, the optical drive, and the heat sink.
To prepare for these tours, the girls spent time researching and learning how computers work, then took apart an old computer in order to see what their giant models should look like! Art and computer studies classes were spent getting ready. Thanks to everyone who visited!
