Community Day

To bring our school year to a fun-filled end, students and teachers will be attending a boat cruise onboard the Kajama tall ship with The Great Lakes Schooner Company.

The first portion of the cruise will include an educational component where students will learn about Maritime, Toronto Harbourfront, and Great Lakes History. They will also learn about navigational instruments and the names of the sails that catch the wind to power the vessel, and even assist the crew in sailing the ship as they work together raising and lowering sails.

Then there will be a buffet lunch and a DJ dance party onboard the ship. We will travel to and from the Queen's Quay pier on the TTC.
