AFTER SCHOOL CARE& LUNCH ROOM SUPERVISOR/ ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANE
To be the after-school care and lunch room coordinator at a small, community oriented all-girls school. This position also entails various clerical and administrative support duties.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, organize and supervise the after-school care programme
- Supervise and maintain the school lunch room
- Supervise our annual summer camp
- Work closely with the general office manager to complete various clerical and building maintenance tasks
- Assist with special school events
- Work closely with the guidance counselor to complete documentation for the Ministry of Education
- Supply for faculty members as needed or assist on school field trips
Qualifications and Skills:
- Is able to support the girl-centred mission of the school
- Previous work experience in day cares or with primary/junior students preferred
- Friendly, warm and welcoming
- Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented
- Competancy with computer applications (i.e. word processing, Microsoft Publisher, spreadsheets, databases)
Salary: $25,000
Work Hours: 10am-6pm, not including special events
This is a one year, full-time contract beginning at the end of August 2012. There is an opportunity for renewal.
