Linden Teachers Published in Rethinking Schools Magazine- October 15, 2010
As we know at Linden, math goes far beyond the classroom. It can also help us solve problems, and provide a thought-provoking way of looking at the world.
Two Linden teachers, Beth Alexander and Michelle Munk, published an article in the Fall 2010 edition of Rethinking Schools magazine on just that topic. In the article, they share their thoughts on the Social Justice Data Fair, an annual Linden event that encourages students to investigate issues important to them using their math skills.
