YOU ARE HERE: WHAT ACTIVITIES CAN I JOIN? > All School Activities

At Linden we refer to ourselves as a community of learners. Learning outside the classroom includes whole school activities, during which students collaborate to share ideas and participate in various activities, presentations and dramatizations.

All school activities take place each Friday morning. Linden students are grouped into "Families" which are comprised of multi-age groups drawn from all grades in the school in order to foster supportive relationships across the grade levels. Younger students benefit from the leadership and modelling of older students, and older students are able to realize how capable and competent they are in taking on leadership roles, as well as demonstrating understanding and patience in working with younger ones. Each family has the opportunity to lead an activity for the rest of the school.
